Pommies Pancakes

Wake up and smell the Pommies! Start your morning off right with this yummy Pommies pancake recipe with a dash of cinnamon. Plenty of ingredients, but easy to make just like regular pancakes.


3 cups of flour
1 ½ teaspoons of baking soda
3 teaspoons of baking powder
½ cup of Pommies Dry
1 egg
1 tablespoon of salt
2 tablespoons of olive oil
¼ cup of buttermilk (or buttermilk substitute)
¼ cup of plain yogurt
1 teaspoons of honey
Butter (as per preference)
3 tablespoons of sugar
1 ½ tablespoons ground cinnamon


Put 1 cup of dry pancake mix in a large bowl. In a smaller bowl, whisk the egg white, buttermilk, yogurt, honey and cider. In another small bowl, whisk together the egg yolks and olive oil. Whisk the wet ingredients in one bowl until combined. Pour all ingredients into big bowl and mix together.

Heat 1 tablespoon of butter in a medium pan. Measure 1/3 cup of the batter and pour into the pan. When you start to see small bubbles on the top of the pancakes and the edges are beginning to cook, flip the pancake. Be sure to add more butter or oil as needed.

Continue until batter is done.

Top with some butter while the pancakes are still warm. Sprinkle with cinnamon mixture and enjoy!
