Pommies Peanut Brittle

Introducing the peanut brittle that ends all peanut brittles. The combination of sweet and salty will be sure to satisfy all of your cravings. Pair with our Pommies Original for best result.


2 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 cup pure maple syrup
1 cup roasted salted peanuts (not dry roasted)
1/2 cups Pommies Cider
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2. tsp baking soda
100g crispy bacon cooked and crumbled (optional)


Either spray your pan or line it well and set aside.

In a heavy bottomed sauce pan, heat the sugar, maple syrup, salt, and Pommies Cider.

When it starts to boil, put the lid on and boil for two minutes.

Remove lid and cook until the mixture is 265 degrees F.

Once the temperature has been reached, add in the peanuts and the butter and cook until the temperature is 315 degrees F.

Once at this temperature, remove from heat and stir in the bacon (optional) and the baking soda.

Once thoroughly mixed, pour into the pan and smooth out.

Let cool.
