Pommies Pulled Chicken Sandwich

Don't know what to make for dinner this weekend? Good thing you already have Pommies cooling in the fridge. This pulled chicken sandwich will be the take of your house for days.


2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breats
1 large loaf of bread (your choice)
12 oz of Pommies Cider
1 apple peeled and sliced
1 large sweet onion sliced
8 oz white cheddar cheese, shredded
2 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp paprika


Place onion and apple slices on the bottom of your slow cooker.

Lay chicken breasts on top and sprinkle all spices.

Pour Pommies Cider over everything.

Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or until chicken is cooked through and can shed easily.

Remove the chicken from the slow cooker, shred, and return to the slow cooker.

Toss together the chicken, apples, onions, and the cooking liquid until everything is mixed well

Place the mixture on one slice of toasted bread and sprinkle with shredded cheese.

Top with your favourite coleslaw before finishing the sandwich.
